Blaine Brothers has two locations to serve you; one in Blaine, Minnesota (near Minneapolis), and the other in Scanlon, MN.
Blaine
58,000 square foot building on 18.5 acres in Blaine, Minnesota, located in the North Central Twin Cities area, and easily accessible from Interstate 35W. This facility services local fleets, intermodal traffic and national fleets that service the southern two-thirds of Minnesota. Schneider National leases a portion of the parking area to serve as a drop yard. The hours of operation are 6am Monday to 1am Saturday with after hours service and towing all weekend.
This state-of-the-art facility is built of precast concrete walls, has in-floor shop heat, drop down hose reel air lines, improved lighting, wireless connections for ABS diagnostic laptops, a roomy parts display area, and comfortable driver waiting area. Scanlon
23,000 square foot building on 6.5 acres in Scanlon, Minnesota, located fifteen minutes from Duluth, Minnesota and at the base of the Iron Range leading into Canada.
This facility services local fleets in the Northern Minnesota and North West Wisconsin area including Cloquet, Duluth, Two Harbors and Superior, as well as fleets from the Twin Cities and Canada that travel into the area servicing local industry. The hours of operation are 7am to 9pm Monday-Friday, with service and towing on call after hours and weekends.
This facility includes many features that were later incorporated into the Blaine facility. The precast concrete walls will provide years of durability. The air system is plumbed with drop down hose reels. Wireless internet allows technicians to diagnose engine and ABS issues on the floor. Drivers exiting south bound off of Interstate 35 will literally drive straight into our driveway. Our Scanlon shop can be reached by phone at 218-879-6681, or by fax at 218-879-9144.
Our History
Blaine Brothers Maintenance, Inc. dba Blaine Brothers was started in 1979. The main company focus was on repairs and towing. Repairs were done by mobile service units and through rented shop space. Through sustained growth, Blaine Brothers was able to move into a new 18,000 square foot building in 1984. We expanded the building several times over the years until it was in excess of 38,000 square feet. In December, 2002, Blaine Brothers opened a second full service facility in Scanlon, Minnesota near Duluth. The Scanlon facility operates out of a 23,000 square foot building, serving northern Minnesota and north-west Wisconsin. In the fall of 2006, we moved from that building into the new state-of-the-art 58,000 square foot facility situated on over 18 acres.
